This release adds a powerful new feature to limit the total value of items a user can check out, plus a range of usability enhancements and behind‑the‑scenes updates.
Limit Total Value of Items Checked Out
Organizations with high-value inventory items, or tiered memberships, or just the desire to enforce fair access can now limit the total value of items that a user can have checked out at one time. This feature helps manage risk, enforce fair usage, and create differentiated access across membership levels.
You can enable which fields to use to limit items at:
Settings > Loans & Reservations > Loans
Select which field or fields you want to use. Order the fields using drag and drop to set the order they should be applied:
We’ve included a new “Custom Value” which you can use our translations tools to rename to Points, Stars, or other value you’d like to use.
You can then set different values based on different Membership Types.
